Scene Doors is a system that allows you to have doors leading from one scene to another.
This method of level design has been seen in many open world AAA titles.
This method allows for much more detail to be pushed into each level, as the interior of a building, for example, could be in a different scene, meaning more polygons, higher resolution textures and more scripts can be running in each area.
